Well, still can't enter the store. Keep on getting the 'Connecting' box! The only time I did get in it wouldn't let me purchase a slot.
Guess ANet don't want my money.

My card is a debit card. It's a Master Card Washington Mutual bank debit card. (I think Washington Mutual is only a Northwest US company. Maybe it's spread further though.) And when I bought my slot, I entered it in as one big long number.

Did you try switching which char you had selected like some have suggested. If you've had a Tyrian char selected, try a Canthan, and vice-versa. Also mayhaps try a PvP char. I got in with a Tyrian monk that was at the time in HA. Try all of your chars and then after that, whether or not you get into the store, send a bug report into ANet telling them which chars you could/couldn't get into the store with, so they'll be able to find out what the bug is all about faster.

Hmmz...when I entered the info in the store checkout it showed a picture as the CVV being the last three digits of the number on the back of the card, on the right side of that strip of material where you sign the card. it was a seven digit number displayed like "XXXX YYY", and the "YYY" number was the one it told me to enter. Anyway it worked, did entering in the last 4 digits of your card number work for you?

Klmpee, if you're logging in by using the same info you've used in the past to submit support tickets, that's wrong. You'll need to create a new NCSoft user account. Try that and let us know.
I've had successful merchandise returns on a debit card in the past. Best Buy had absolutely no problems with crediting money back to it even as recently as Christmas. Maybe it varies according the the store involved.

Let me hear back from you guys with connection or other issues, please. I would like to give a full report, so keep us up to date. For instance, did a fresh PlayNC account work out for you? Did you find taking out the spaces or correcting the CVV number fix the problem?
Thanks for the info.

If you're still having problems connecting to the shop at all, you probably have router-forwarding issues like I had. I've been able to play Guild Wars flawlessly ever since I've purchased it, but last night I simply could not connect to the store. Going on the support site, it told me that I needed ports 6112 and 80 for TCP open. I had 6112 open (hey, that's a battle.net port!), but 80 was closed. When I opened port 80, I was suddenly able to connect to the store without a problem.

Managed to get in and purchase a new slot.
Did exactly what I did before when it refused me, no changes at all and this time it went through just fine.
Oh well, at least I know it wasn't me.

I have the same card / bank and I cannot buy a slot... it keeps triggering fraud prevention for some reason...

Does these "Other issues" include being forced to view prices as British pounds for Australian players, and Euro's for New Zealand players.
I'm sure Koreans aren't viewing prices as Japanese yen!

Yes my # is also being rejected... Do you per chance have washington mutual? I've called them like 10 times and they have "fixed" this issue that many times... but still no luck.

I believe the shop has a little thing up saying that if you have an Amex card, the CVV is four-digits.
